Stamina 1205 Precision Rower Review
The Stamina 1205 Precision Rower is in the budget price range, but does that mean it’s a poor quality machine? The general consensus is that it’s actually a great rower for the price. You would expect that it isn’t perfect, and it may not be the standard that you would see from a high end rower such as the Model E by Concept2. With this being said, there are some pretty great features such as it being compact, which is perfect for those home users that have very limited space. It also has everything that you would expect from a hydraulic resistance rowing machine that includes adjustable resistance, a some-what comfortable seat, which you can say is a great bonus and a performance monitor.
Features and Specifications
The Stamina 1205 Precision Rower does not have a large variety of advanced features, but it will give you what you expect. It will get the job done if your wanting to increase your fitness level or if you are wanting to lose weight. It is great for those who have limited space and the manufacturer has bragged that it will offer a standard workout like the machines that are twice its size, which is a bold statement.
Performance Monitor
With the lower price, you would certainly still expect to be able to track your progress as you workout, and you will not be disappointed here. The performance monitor does a great job of showing your distance, time, calories burned, and your speed. It’s a very basic rower, but it is adequate enough to meet many peoples exercising needs, and it is just enough to keep you motivated as you watch the calories burned grow.
Storage
This rower does not fold away, but that isn’t a real issue since it is quite small. It is only 32.5 inches wide and 48 inches long, which is smaller than the Favorit by Kettler. Since the The Stamina 1205 Precision Rower does not really fold, it can be seen as a great thing. This is because many rowers will have an issue with stability where they have been created to fold at various points.
Comfort
When you consider that this rower is within the budget price range, you will see that Stamina has gone through quite a lot of trouble to make it comfortable to use. It has a great padded seat which glides easily among the seat rail. There are also foam grips located on the rowing arms to help ensure that your hands are stable, yet comfortable. Plus, there are pivoting footplates that help to support your feet an also includes a bit of freedom when it comes to movement.

• Silver steel frame.

The Verdict for The Stamina 1205 Precision Rower
If you decide to purchase the Stamina 1205 Precision Rower, you will get something that will offer great value for the price, but at the same time you will get what you pay for. This rowing machine does have some positive points, overall it feels solid and is well-built to use, but it seems that more than just a few people have had an issue with it.
One of the biggest issue is that in some instances, the hydraulic cylinders have stopped working and have to be replaced, now this isn’t a big issue if it is still under the warranty, but the moving parts for this rowing machine are only covered for 90 days. If they break outside of the 90 day period, you will have to replace the cylinders on your own.
With all of this being said, this particular rowing machine does have many positive reviews online, but we would certainly recommend browsing some of the negative reviews as well, seeing how some people out there have had a few issues.
